Time sure flies when you are having fun. Isn't that how the saying goes? After my last posting, I headed off for a 10 day jaunt to the Caribbean, which included a 7 night cruise . It was a fantastic time! If you have never been on a cruise, you need to find a way to get on one. You get to visit different places, but get to unpack once and have everything taken care of for you - meals, entertainment, room service, and much, much more. The best part is we are making it easier and easier for you to take a cruise. Needless to say, I've been extremely busy since I've been back. We've been working hard to give our Members more and more.
When you become a Member with The Golf & Travel Club, you not only become a member of a fantastic organization, where you can run your own business, you can choose fabulous cruises and golf trips (depending on your membership level) just for coming in. As well, in a short time, we will be offering travel services where you can book trips and cruises for yourself and save money. You even have the opportunity to book travel for friends, family and other people and earn the perks of being a travel agent.
All this travel and golf is very exciting. I hope to have some pictures up soon, so be on the lookout for those.
Wow, does time ever go by quickly - and not just because of the time change. I just realized that it's been a while since my last post. Things have been very busy and to add to the craziness, I am also getting ready to leave for a cruise through the Caribbean with my family. My family loves to cruise and we've been fortunate enough to take a cruise every year for the past few years. I think everyone should experience a cruise at least once. They are so much fun and are really a great value when you add up the food, entertainment, etc. We tried it a few years ago and now we're hooked. And now, I'm more excited than ever because we've made it even easier than ever to travel for our Members.
We've always had golf trips, weekend getaways and other travel packages, but very soon, we'll be providing full travel booking services to our Members. That's right! Members will be able to book their trips, hotels, flights, or anything else related to travel through the company and save money. And it's even better than that. Not only will Members be saving money when they book trips for themselves, they can even earn commissions when they book trips for their friends and family! How great is that? We're constantly striving to provide better and better things for our Members and this is something our Members wanted.
If you aren't a Member yet and are still looking for a home business, I think you should seriously take another look at us. Here's what our Members get:
And much more. Take a closer look and speak to an Associate. It may be what you've been looking for.
Anyway, that's it for now. Too much to do. Bon Voyage to you all.
It's now March and what does that mean? Unlike those who have year round golf and sunny skies this time of year (like the president of our company, who lives in Arizona), for many of us, the "unofficial" launch of the golf season is right after the Masters (next month). Some of you lucky golfers may have gone south for the winter and enjoyed your golf vacations or golf getaways, but for the rest of us, the golf season is fast approaching. What does that mean? It means if you're like me, you've probably watched more golf on TV that actually golfed. And if you really didn't swing the club much, you probably need to start thinking about getting ready for the golf season.
Now, if you've been really just been sitting around, you probably need to get back into shape. Those unused golf muscles probably need some stretching and a light workout. If you can, you should start swinging a club around the house (don't break anything though), or get to the driving range. There's lots of sites on the Internet that can help you get back into golf shape. Just Google "golf fitness" and I'm sure you'll find some useful tips and suggestions.
It's also time to think about how else you can improve your golf game. You've probably heard that the professionals don't use the same clubs as you and I. That's true - all of their clubs have been custom fit for them and for their own specific game. What about the rest of us? Well, custom clubs are becoming more and more popular now, with many of the major brands offering some kind of customization. Getting a properly fit set of clubs has been proven to improve ones golf game. The nice thing is that getting a custom set of clubs is no longer just for the professionals or the wealthy. There are many alternatives to the major brands that can be fully customized for you. Imagine a new custom fit driver, or a new set of irons, built specifically for you. That's a great way to start the season.
So, it time to get ready for golf. Get fit. Get practice. Get custom golf clubs. As Bobby, the president likes to say, "Hit 'em straight...and I'll see you on the first tee!"
Just got back from a weekend getaway with the family. It was a good trip and I enjoy taking these trips. It's always good to have a mix of business and pleasure in your life. You know what they say about "all work and no play." Without the time to do other things besides work, it's only a matter of time before you get burnt out and that does nobody any good. Ask yourself if you've given yourself enough "time off" over the years. I find that most people haven't and in my mind, that's a pretty sad thing. Life should be enjoyed to the fullest. It shouldn't be just about work, work, work. That takes all the fun out of it.
Now that I've said my bit about taking time off, being the technophile that I am, I can't always be completely away from my work. With the popularity of broadband internet at most hotels these days, I am able to keep an eye on my business, even when I'm away. That's the beauty of having your own business like ours - it can be done from anywhere! I was able to check my emails to see if anything was urgent. I even brought my phone along as I have an Internet broadband phone. I just plugged it in and could talk to anyone as if I was in my office. Isn't that fantastic? My wife doesn't think so, but the reality is that it does make running my own business much easier than before.
Anyway, my point is that regardless if you work while you are away or not, it is important that you take time to enjoy yourself once in a while. It doesn't matter if it is a short golf getaway, or a romantic weekend getaway or just a night out once a week. Just do something so that it isn't all work and you do take the time to enjoy your life. As an ad from a travel agent used to say, "Life is Short.... Death is Long.... Take a Holiday!"
That's it for now.
